Travel Agent embarked yesterday, May 9, from San Francisco aboard Crystal Cruises' Crystal Symphony. We are on location this week covering the company's 21st annual sales meeting and gala, which brings together the industry's top-selling cruise professionals.
We checked in to room number 9107, a Deluxe Stateroom with a Verandah. While it is commonly known that Crystal Cruises' staterooms are smaller than on other ships, we could not be more pleased with our accommodations, which offers a king-size bed, a bathroom with a double-sink vanity and small sitting area. And, of course, there is nothing like sitting on your private verandah feasting on fresh fruit with nothing but the ocean in your way.
The event kicked off last night with a welcome cocktail in the ship's Trident Bar, followed by dinner. We dined at the signature Silk Road restaurant where we were treated to a menu of Nobu-quality sushi and other Japanese delicacies.
