Swan Hellenic North America Expands Sales Team

Swan Hellenic North America has expanded its sales team to meet increasingly strong growth, particularly through its partnership with the Virtuoso network of luxury travel advisors.

To that point, Kelly Predmesky has been promoted to a new position of director of national accounts, where she will manage day-to-day sales and marketing plans and be the primary contact for Virtuoso, as well as future consortium accounts. In addition, Mark Spillane was recently hired by Swan Hellenic, filling Predmesky’s former position as director of sales, Eastern USA. Spillane was most recently as director of expedition sales for Seabourn and, prior to that, in the same role with Crystal. Previously, Spillane was at Silversea under Cheryl Topalian, now Swan Hellenic North America’s director of operations.

Spillane will concentrate on developing travel agency sales in the Eastern US. He will also work with Predmesky to develop sales with Virtuoso throughout North America and Canada, as will Eric Bacon (director of sales, Western US and Canada) and Rolf Logan (director of sales, North America groups), in addition to focusing on their respective areas. This will now form an integral part of their roles.

Joe Maloney, vice president of sales, North America, said “I’m very proud of our North America team. These changes will enable us to deliver even more focused partner support and customer service, advancing our high-end reputation as the pioneers of cultural expedition cruising.”
