Tauck's 2014 Family Itineraries Now Available Online

Tauck began taking bookings on its 2014 “Tauck Bridges” collection of land journeys and cruises designed specifically for families. The company posted itinerary information, departure dates and prices on its website for each of its 17 Tauck Bridges itineraries in Europe, North America, Latin America and Africa, effectively launching its collection of family trips for the coming year approximately three months earlier than in prior years.

According to Tauck CEO Dan Mahar, the earlier launch will better support the company’s network of travel agents. “Getting information on next year’s Bridges trips into the market earlier will only help our agents, who tell us that families are planning and booking vacations earlier than ever,” said Mahar.

Mahar cited the growing numbers of extended families who are using Tauck Bridges trips as occasions for reunions. “Large family reunion groups plan their trips farther in advance,” Mahar said. “Having our 2014 information available to agents now will help them capture more of this extremely lucrative business.”

The publication of Tauck’s 2014 Bridges information comes as 2013 bookings of Tauck Bridges trips enjoy double-digit, year-over-year gains.
