Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has hired a new sales manager and realigned some of its sales territories to create a new dedicated resource for the home-based agency sector.
Newly appointed sales manager, Kendra Asmus, will be responsible for Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma. Prior to joining Uniworld, Asmus was a business development manager with Carnival Cruise Lines for five years covering New Mexico, Texas, and Arizona. She excelled as business development manager, and in 2010 earned “BDM of the Year” for the Western Region. In addition, she held positions as a tour manager with Tour New Mexico and Blue Sky Adventures, as well as Holland America Cruise Lines. Asmus will report directly to Jennifer McLeod, Uniworld’s director of field sales.
In a strategic move, Uniworld furthers their commitment to support the home-based agency sector with the creation of a new dedicated “home-based agency sales manager.” Uniworld’s veteran sales manager, Kathie Weitzman, will take on additional responsibilities that focus on business development in the home-based market sector. In this key home-based position, Weitzman, will report directly to Nancy Logan, Uniworld’s VP of national accounts. To supplement this home-based position, some of Uniworld’s Western territories have been realigned to other Uniworld sales managers.
