Uniworld Appoints Person Garcia to VP of Sales

Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection appointed Person Garcia to vice president of sales. Garcia will lead Uniworld’s sales operations as a member of the company’s executive management. He brings to Uniworld experience in business development, group sales, national account development, sales, marketing and product innovation.

Prior to joining Uniworld, Garcia spent more than 20 years in travel, including sales positions at Norwegian Cruise Line, Premier Cruise Lines and most recently Crystal Cruises. At Crystal, Garcia had a multitude of responsibilities. On a national level, he was responsible for groups, charters and incentives. On a regional level, he was the director of sales for the Western Region, managing ten district sales managers in the US and Canada and overseeing a nine-person inside sales team.

Garcia holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Loyola Marymount University and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is well respected within the cruise industry, being named “Top Young Cruise Line Executive--Fast Track to Success.”
