Uniworld Clients Face Fuel Surcharge Unless Bookings Paid by Year's End

Uniworld Grand Cruises is implementing a fuel charge of $7 per guest per night on its 2008 Europe programs and $10 for its Russia and Ukraine itineraries. Uniworld will waive the surcharge on all existing and new bookings if paid in full by December 31. "The cruise fuel surcharge has become necessary due to the rise in fuel prices, which has had a significant impact on our operation," said Guy Young, CEO of Uniworld. "We hope our valued customers will understand the need for this increase in light of today's global economic environment." Visit www.uniworld.com. (DE)
