Victoria Jenna Raises River Cruise Standards

Sunday, September 6 was the maiden voyage of Victoria Cruises' Victoria Jenna down China's Yangtze River, and in just a short time this ship certainly has made a name for herself.

The vessel is the first river cruise ship in the world with four elevators, two full-service kitchens and wireless CDMA Internet. In addition, the ship has 208 staterooms and a passenger capacity of 416. It is the largest ship in Victoria Cruises' fleet.

All staterooms have a private balcony, marble-top bathroom counters, in-room refrigerators, 26-inch LCD flat screen televisions and more.

Hopping on the "green" bandwagon, the Victoria Jenna has taken measures to set the bar for fuel-passenger ratio and is making an effort to eliminate paper usage by implementing a software application that streamlines all ship operations from onboard shopping to passenger telecommunications.
