This Week in Cruise: InnerSea Discoveries Offers Bonus Commission on Bookings Through November

InnerSea Discoveries and American Safari Cruises announced a $100 per person bonus commission for travel agents booking Un-Cruise Adventures in Mexico’s Sea of Cortés and the Hawaiian Islands this winter. The line is also offering a travel credit savings for guests. Travel agents with a deposited booking between Oct. 1 and Nov. 30, 2012 will earn a bonus commission of $100 per guest. To help agents close the sale, guests will receive a $300 travel credit for Mexico and $500 travel credit for Hawaii on bookings made by Nov. 30, 2012. Travel credits are per couple for new bookings. Both the travel credit and the bonus commission are for Luxury Adventures departing November 2012-April 2013.

As part of National Cruise Vacation Week, MSC Cruises is offering a shipboard credit of as much as $200 per stateroom for guests who book a 2013 cruise this month. MSC Cruises is marking the event with a month-long “World’s Largest Cruise Event” offer available to residents of the United States and Canada who book select 2013 MSC Cruises sailings of five or more nights by Oct. 31, 2012. South American itineraries are excluded from this promotion.

This announcement comes on the heels of MSC Cruises' “Diva Like No Other” sweepstakes in anticipation of the arrival of MSC Divina in PortMiami in Fall 2013. Through Nov. 2, 2012, agents are invited to visit here  for a chance to win daily and weekly prizes by answering a series of questions about MSC Cruises’ newest ship, MSC Divina, named after her godmother, famed Italian actress, Sophia Loren.

Starting this November, Silver Cloud will open to guests with a stylishly renovated shipboard environment and a host of new enhancements. A major stem-to-stern refurbishment will take place October, with most of the work being completed during a three-week dry dock at Fincantieri's shipyard in Palermo, Italy. The goal is to completely renovate Silver Cloud's interior decoration, including the suites, public spaces and dining venues, in order to introduce a fresh and contemporary classic atmosphere. Silversea is making a significant financial investment in this refurbishment to ensure its guests experience a renewed sense of luxury and comfort when sailing aboard Silver Cloud.
