This Week in Cruise: InnerSea Discoveries' Safari Legacy Travels to Alaska in 2013

InnerSea Discoveries is debuting Heritage Adventures in Alaska and along the Columbia and Snake Rivers. The voyages are sailed aboard the 88-guest Safari Legacy, which is to undergo renovations and upgrades. The Heritage Adventure program aboard each sailing combines on-board presentations with tours ashore, highlighted through educational presentations, expert guest speakers and character reenactments.

Silversea Cruises released two brochures detailing over 200 itineraries sailing in 2013. Also available is a stand-alone 48-page guide to Silver Explorer's voyages, highlighting 27 expedition cruises. The brochures also detail the 115-day World Cruise from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale aboard Silver Whisper on Jan. 5, and several Grand Voyages ranging from 34 to 54 days in length.

CruiseOne debuted a new look for its luxury program, Sea Luxe Cruises by CruiseOne. The program includes a luxury travel-specific website with access to hundreds of luxury-certified travel agents across the nation. Sea Luxe Cruises by CruiseOne offers fares starting as low as $1,424, two-for-one all-inclusive fares, up to $500 in shore excursion credits, onboard spending credits, prepaid gratuitites, reduced airfare, reduced back-to-back sailings and complimentary pre/post hotel stays.
