Travel agents looking to recommend a cruise with an exciting speaker or a fun concert got a bevy of new options this week.
Crystal announced plans to expand its Crystal Visions Enrichment Program to Crystal Yacht Cruises.
As part of the expansion, three of the line’s popular guest speakers will appear on Crystal Esprit when the new yacht sails through Greece, Cyprus, Israel, Jordan, Qatar, Oman and the UAE this November and December. The new speakers are Stephen Cole, an international speaker and broadcast journalist for the BBC and CNN; Jean-Pierre Isbouts, a humanities scholar, author of National Geographic books and filmmaker; and U.S. Marine Corps General (Ret.) Anthony Zinni, a decorated military veteran.
In the Caribbean, Hapag-Lloyd Cruises’ Europa 2 will host a series of debates and discussions this October as part of the line’s “talk2christiansen” series of events. Joining the discussion will be German journalist Sabine Christiansen and Kai Diekmann, publisher of the German Bild Group. The two will talk digital media, the media industry and society.
Also onboard will be journalist, dentist and best-selling author Katja Kessler, who will provide tips on how to maintain a happy marriage from her latest book.
On a lighter note, Carnival Cruise Line has announced its 2017 Carnival LIVE lineup, with headliners Tim McGraw, Little Big Town, Jay Leno and Jeff Foxworthy.
McGraw will perform aboard Carnival Breeze March 2 and Carnival Valor March 3, while Little Big Town will perform aboard Carnival Dream May 11 and Carnival Valor May 12. Leno will appear on Carnival Victory May 3 and Carnival Vista May 4, while Jeff Foxworthy will perform on Carnival Freedom June 21 and Carnival Ecstasy June 22.
