American Queen Steamboat Company has announced new “Vineyards, Vintages and Varietals” cruises through the Pacific Northwest wine country for 2016 onboard the American Empress and sailing roundtrip from Portland, OR

Guests on the itinerary will have the opportunity to meet with local wine makers for tastings, pairings and lectures. Additionally, the line's chefs will incorporate local wines of the region into onboard meals throughout the voyage as the ship sails to ports of call Astoria and The Dalles, OR, and Stevenson and Tri-Cities, WA

Celebrity Cruises announced its new lineup of Europe shore excursions with a special emphasis on local cuisine and adventures. 

New offerings range from tours of Greece curated by Celebrity’s own Greek officers; to opportunities to explore local markets with an expert chef; to adventure-fueled experiences curated by a world adventurer; to racing along the French Riviera in a Lamborghini

Also in Europe, European Waterways just took the wraps off a new Whisky Trail cruise for single malt lovers in Scotland

Sailing onboard the hotel barge Scottish Highlander, guests travel along the Caledonian Canal between Fort William and Inverness, visiting at least three historic distilleries along the way. The barge will also travel across scenic deep water lakes, including Loch Ness, and visit famous castles and historic sites.
