Saveur and Windstar Cruises have created a platform to highlight culinary destinations for travelers. Windstar Local Dining Tips Curated by Saveur offers Saveur-recommended culinary guides to Windstar’s ports.
The tips for more than 20 destinations around the globe include insider advice on where to find restaurants, local markets, authentic culinary shops and hidden watering holes.

As part of the launch of Windstar Local Dining Tips, the cruise company is giving away a Classic Italy & Dalmatian Coast cruise for two, an eight-day voyage that explores Venice, Rome and the Dalmatian Coast. Entrants must provide an insider international destination tip on Windstar’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/WindstarCruises.
Windstar Local Dining Tips will be provided to guests through a variety of platforms while on board, with the entire collection also available on Windstar’s blog. Additionally, travelers who embark on a Windstar voyage themselves will be encouraged to post their photos from the local dining tip locations using #WindstarDiningTips for a chance to win a travel tote from Saveur and Windstar.
The Local Dining Tips program is the result of a continued partnership between Windstar and Saveur. In April the companies hosted a sailing of Windstar’s Culinary & Wine Delights of Spain voyage with guest chef Seamus Mullen and winemaker Jorge Ordonez. On the eight-day journey guests experienced cooking demonstrations, guided wine tastings, wine pairing dinners and culinary excursions in Mallorca, Valencia and Cadiz.
