Travel Agent was on site Thursday in New York City for a press conference held by The World, the only existing residential community at sea. James St. John III, president of ResidenSea Ltd, the management company behind the vessel, announced the last home of the 165-unit vessel has been sold. The current rental program, however, will continue to offer guests an opportunity to rent private residences aboard the vessel for minimum stays of six nights. Travel agents will receive commissions for these rentals.
