$100 Million Beach Resort Opens in Panama

Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced the soft opening of The Westin Playa Bonita Panama, the first Westin hotel to be unveiled in Panama. 

Flanked by rainforest and a pristine stretch of Pacific shoreline just 20 minutes outside Panama City, the $100 million beach hotel features 611 luxury rooms and suites, an array of international restaurants and the largest meeting space in the Republic of Panama.

In celebration of the hotel’s soft opening, The Westin Playa Bonita Panama is offering an exclusive “Westin Indulge Package,” which includes daily breakfast in bed, sparkling wine and strawberries upon arrival, and a late checkout of 4 p.m. Rates start at $265 per night for a green view room, and $285 for an ocean view room through April 3.
