Accor Adds Two Kota Kinabalu Hotels

Accor has signed management contracts for two hotels in Kota Kinabalu, the rapidly growing capital city of Sabah East Malaysia. The 263-room Novotel 1 Borneo, Kota Kinabalu is scheduled to open in 2008 as part of 1 Borneo, a lifestyle megamall. Highlights will include a BIZ executive floor and BIZ lounge. The 212-room Mercure Waterfront Kota Kinabalu will open this November. It will be part of the Waterfront development, with views of the ocean and Mount Kinabalu. The Waterfront development is a rising entertainment and shopping district. It will include a state-of-the-art spa.
