Air Canada Resumes Full Flight Schedule

Air Canada resumed its full flight schedule on Saturday, April 14 following the cancellation of nearly 75 flights on Friday, April 13 due to an illegal strike by some of the pilots.

The majority of the cancelations were primarily to and from Toronto, the carrier's main hub and other North American destinations.

On Friday, Air Canada received an order from the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) declaring that certain pilots were participating in an illegal strike, that ACPA, the pilots' union, was to take steps to bring an end to the strike and that all pilots were to return to work immediately.
