Celebrating its 10th anniversary, The Alaska Railroad's GoldStar service will launch all-inclusive dining in summer 2015.
"This is another example of the Alaska Railroad's commitment to continuously improving its services," said Alaska Railroad Director of Guest Services and Passenger Marketing Bruce LaLonde. "All-inclusive dining for GoldStar passengers brings added value and adds to the convenience of the Alaska Raildroad experience."
GoldStar guests will enjoy local Alaskan meals algon with both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, including beers from local brewing companies.
The all-inclusive package is available on the Denali Star train between Anchorage and Fairbanks and the Coastal Classic train between Anchorage and Seward. The GoldStar package is accompanied by double-deck train cars with upper level viewing windows, Alaskan art, private bars and an upper level outdoor viewing deck. The Alaska Railroad plans to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the GoldStar service by adding even more amenities to their guests.
