The new 15-day journey is fully guided by Sandor Nagy, a Hungarian-born veteran with more than two decades of experience. Limited to no more than 16 travelers, guests will try special dining experiences, sightseeing and authentic cultural engagement not possible in a larger group.

Hotels used along the tour include the Sheraton Krakow, ideally situated within walking distance of Old Town; the Corinthia Hotel, a century-old landmark in the heart of Budapest; and the Aria Hotel, close to Prague Castle.

Sightseeing and unique cultural engagement throughout includes the Schindler Factory Museum in Krakow, the Wieliczka Salt Mine, a culinary tour through Budapest’s Central Market, and lunch at Lobkowicz Castle outside of Prague.

An overland journey through the High Tatras Mountains takes travelers from Poland across Slovakia to the Hungarian Plains. From Budapest, travelers board AmaWaterways’ AmaDolce for a seven-night cruise with guided shoreside excursions in Bratislava, Vienna, Dürnstein, Melk, Passau, Regensburg and Nuremburg.

At the end of the cruise, Alexander+Roberts guests travel to Plzen, the birthplace of Pilsner beer, for a brewery tour and a visit to the General Patton Memorial. The tour ends with a leisurely three-night stay in Prague at the intimate Aria Hotel.
