Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel Adds to Its Sales Team

Aston Hotels & Resorts has announced the appointment of Deborah Chi Misajon (pictured right) as director of sales and Ashley Vendiola (below) as sales coordinator for the Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel.

Misajon is a seasoned professional with experience in luxury destinations, boutique hotels, villas and international resort markets. In her new position, she will oversee and execute sales efforts for Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel. Responsible for revenue generation from suppliers, including travel agencies and wholesalers, she will also develop and expand business opportunities in specialty markets, including corporate, government, military and groups. Misajon’s experience includes sales management with major hotel chains worldwide, including director of sales for the Americas and Europe for Amanresorts. In addition, she co-founded Elegant Hideaways LLC, a web-based villa rental and concierge company.

As sales coordinator for Aston Waikiki Beach Hotel, Vendiola will provide support for the hotel’s sales activities. She will coordinate on-site fam trips and property tours, sales blitz activities and programs, and travel partner follow up. Her professional experience in the hospitality industry includes food and beverage, guest services, and reservations and group coordination at Turtle Bay Resort and Koa Kea Hotel & Resort, giving her a comprehensive understanding of the scope of hotel operations.
