Ayana Resort and Spa Bali Rockets to the Top

Ayana Resort and Spa Bali didn't waste any time making a name for itself. Just months after rebranding from Ritz-Carlton Bali, the property was awarded Asia's Leading Luxury Resort at the World Travel Awards 2009.

After the rebranding the hotel underwent some refurbishment including the new Rock Bar, the renovation of Padi restaurant and Ayana Ballroom and the appointment of William Gumport as Chef de Cuisine at Dava.

The property includes 78 villas and 290 hotel rooms set on cliffs overlooking the ocean. It includes the the Thermes Marins Bali spa, featuring Spa on the Rocks treatments and Aquatonic Seawater Therapy Pools.

Couples looking for an exotic destination to tie the knot should look into the six wedding venues including two glass chapels.
