Grand Lucayan, Bahamas has launched a program designed to increase global sales revenue in the booming Latin American market.
The sales effort, which coincides with new branding for the resort as “The classic Bahamian experience,” launched with two recent media events in Sao Paulo, Brazil and Mexico City. The events highlighted recent improvements at Grand Lucayan, including renovations to its luxurious Lanai Suites.
“We’re very excited about our focus on the classic Bahamian experience and believe that the new branding will resonate well in the Latin American market," said Grand Lucayan General Manager Benjamin Davis in a written release. "We’re confident that further emphasis on this market will pay dividends, as approximately 10% of sales are already attributed to Latin America.”
