Beachfront Mazatlan Resort Joins Wyndham Brand

Wyndham Hotel Group recently announced the addition of the 68-room Wyndham Las Villas Resort Mazatlan in Mexico to the upscale Wyndham Hotels and Resorts brand’s growing resort portfolio.

The Mazatlan property, located in the Mexican state of Sinaloa, is the seventh Wyndham branded hotel in the country.

The full-service resort, formerly the Las Villas Hotel & Spa, is operated by Aurora, Colorado-based Club Acquisition Company, a resort and residential real estate development firm that currently oversees and manages land, home and condo sales, hotels, restaurants, golf courses, construction and real estate businesses in Mexico and the United States.

Wyndham Las Villas Resort Mazatlan is situated along three and a half miles of secluded beach within the gates of Estrella del Mar, Mazatlan’s premier master-planned community located on 816 acres along the Mexican Riviera. The boutique-style property is just six miles from General Rafael Buelna International Airport and roughly 20 miles from downtown Mazatlan, with round-trip shuttle service to these locations available to hotel guests.

All guests who are Wyndham Rewards members can earn Wyndham Rewards points, which can be redeemed for complimentary hotel stays, airline tickets, name-brand merchandise and dining and shopping gift cards, among other options. In lieu of points, members may elect to earn airline or rail miles with a variety of carriers.
