bmi Appoints Two Positions in American Sector

bmi, London Heathrow’s second-largest airline, has appointed two key positions in the Americas.

Dan Cadeaux, bmi’s regional manager of the Americas, came to bmi from Eos Airlines, where he served both as a corporate account director and a business development manager overseeing corporate accounts, travel management companies and new business leads. Before Eos, Dan worked with Cathay Pacific and United Airlines as a corporate account manager in London. From 2004–2006, Dan was Cathay Pacific’s UK and Ireland corporate sales manager, overseeing a team of six nationwide account managers. Dan, who is based in New York City, will be responsible for growing the markets across North, Central and South America as well as developing new business for bmi.

Ken Connor, bmi’s marketing manager for the Americas, came to bmi from Qatar Airways, where he was director of marketing in North America, helping to launch Qatar Airways’ new services to Newark Liberty International Airport and Washington Dulles International Airport. Ken started with Northwest Airlines as a sales manager and also worked as the brand manager–alliances at United Airlines during the start-up of Star Alliance. In 2003, Ken became United Airlines' manager of international advertising and promotion. In his current position with bmi, Ken is responsible for marketing for all of the Americas, as well as sales and marketing in Latin America. He is based in Washington, D.C.
