Breaking News: Suicide Bombers Attack InterContinental Kabul

CNN and other sources are reporting that a group of suicide bombers have attacked the Hotel InterContinental Kabul today, and that fighting was ongoing with Afghan security forces. 

According to IHG sources, the hotel is not affiliated with the InterContinental Hotels and Resorts brand, and has not been since 1980.

A spokesman for the Taliban, Zabiullah Mujahid, said a group of Taliban bombers was responsible for the 10 p.m. attack on the hotel, which is popular among international guests. There were no immediate details on casualties.
