British Airways May Strike During Royal Wedding

According to the Daily Mail and other sources, British Airways cabin crew members will vote next week on a strike action that could impact half-term holidays for millions of families and the Royal Wedding.

The Unite union last night gave airline bosses seven days notice of its intention to ballot cabin crew members on a potential strike. The monthlong ballot would begin next Tuesday and close on January 21.

It places the mid-February half-term holidays in jeapoardy for millions of families, and could also be extended to cover the 11-day holiday bonanza for Easter and the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29.
