The 2011 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, available on newsstands now, features the British Virgin Islands (BVI) as one of the issue’s shoot locations.
Peter Island, one of 60 islands in the BVI, serves as the backdrop for models Brooklyn Decker, Jessica Gomes, Cintia Dicker and Hilary Rhoda.
This is not the first time the British Virgin Islands have been showcased in the legendary Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition. The 1999 edition was shot in both Necker Island and Guana Island and the entire 1980 edition was shot in the British Virgin Islands.
