Cabo San Lucas Resort Introduces New Culinary, Wellness Offerings

Esperanza Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico has introduced new spa, wellness and culinary experiences from cooking classes to yoga sessions by candlelight.

Clients taking part in the Clam Dig Cooking Class & Package will join Executive Chef Gonzalo Cerda in a hands-on-cooking class using fresh herbs and fish, including digging for your own clams in the Sea of Cortez. Clients will learn to prepare a traditional Mexican meal. The resort’s master tequilero will take clients through a tequila tasting journey and initiate them into the exclusive Blue Agave Society. The package is offered through December 18 and starts at $1,925.00.

Esperanza also recently added a pair of complimentary yoga classes to its fitness offerings. Each Thursday at 6 p.m., guests can end their day with a calming evening yoga session by candlelight. On Saturdays at 7 a.m., guests can begin their day on the resort’s private beach with an energizing session set to the rising sun and the natural soundtrack of crashing waves.

Lastly, Marie Veronique Organics, a high-end Berkeley-based skincare company, has developed two facials exclusively for Esperanza. The new menu of facial options includes the Brightening and Lightening Facial, which uses the Marie Veronique products with vitamin C and potent antioxidants to increase collagen and repair sun damage. The Anti-Aging Facial features a firming massage using ingredients rich in essential fatty acids and antioxidants to restore and tone the skin.
