Canopy by Hilton Heads for Portland

canopy by hiltonCanopy by Hilton, Hilton Worldwide’s boutique hotel brand, has announced plans for a new build property in Portland, Oregon, to open in fall 2017. 

The Canopy by Hilton Portland Pearl District will have 153 guest rooms and will stand in a central Portland neighborhood that was once home to abandoned warehouses and rail yards, and that is now home to numerous options for shopping, dining and entertainment. 

The hotel’s restaurant will highlight local ingredients like wild salmon, razor clams, hazelnuts, blueberries, and fiddleheads, while the beverage menu will serve signature cocktails from Portland’s Distillery Row, wines from the Willamette Valley and craft beer.

Instead of an extended checkout, the hotel will have a Transfer Lounge with space for guests to relax, change clothes or store luggage. 

The hotel will also have 2,807 total square feet of meeting space, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi.
