Canopy by Hilton Set to Open in London in 2018

Hilton Worldwide plans to bring its lifestyle hotel brand, Canopy by Hilton, to the U.K. for the first time. Canopy by Hilton London City is set to open its doors in early 2018, after a franchise agreement with 4C Hotel Group.

The launch of the hotel in London, more specifically Aldgate, will follow the opening of the first Canopy by Hilton in Reykjavik, Iceland this summer.

Canopy by Hilton London City will sit adjacent to the historic Roman and medieval city walls. Guests will be able to walk to the East End in under 20 minutes. The ground floor lobby (Canopy Central) will be made to reflect the neighborhood. There will also be dining options, serving fresh, healthy and locally inspired dishes. Guests will also be able to relax at the rooftop bar, which will offer evening tastings of local craft beer and wine. Wi-Fi and an artisanal breakfast will be included in the room rate. There will also be meetings rooms and a fitness area.
