Travel Agent is seeing a lot of special agent rates being offered by Caribbean resorts, a trend we don’t expect to die down anytime soon.
In St. Kitts, the St. Kitts Marriott Resort & The Royal Beach Casino recently introduced a special nightly rate of $39 for certified agents. “Travel agents are among the resort’s strongest advocates,” said General Manager Flor van der Vaart in a written release. “We believe the best recommendations are generated through personal experience.”
Meanwhile, Bolongo Bay Beach Resort in St. Thomas, U.S Virgin Islands, is offering nightly rates starting from $99 per room, per night and all-inclusive rates starting from $327 per room, per night. Both deals are being offered now through October 31. “Travel agents keep our business flourishing and we want to give back and say thank you with reduced rates,” said Paul Doumeng, general manager of Bolongo Bay, in a written release.
