Carlson Hotels has just signed an agreement to open a second Radisson hotel in Bangladesh for 2013.
The 250-room Radisson Hotel Cox's Bazar will be an oceanfront property offering beach access. The hotel will feature an all-day dining restaurant, several meeting rooms and a bar. Other facilities will include a swimming pool and fitness center.
The hotel will be a five minute drive from the domestic airport. There are plans for an international airport to be built locally in the future, but we weren't given exact dates. Cox's Bazar is also easily accessed by land transfers from Dhaka and Chittagong.
