Cabo San Lucas had a great 2007 and all signs point to an even stronger 2008. The first new property Travel Agent reports on for 2008 in this growing tourism destination is Casa Dorada Los Cabos, Resort & Spa.
Located on the popular Playa Médano and within walking distance of its dining, shopping and nightlife, Casa Dorada Los Cabos, Resort & Spa is set to open its doors on January 21. It has 186 deluxe oceanview rooms and suites including 13 penthouse suites which face Cabo’s Land’s End Rock, which is an area comprised of a large cluster of rock formations.
As for accommodations, Penthouse Suites ranging from 2,000 to 4,500 square feet have multiple bedrooms, living spaces, kitchens and furnished terraces and balconies. Amenities include several TVs, ocean-facing Jacuzzis and walk-in closets.
The 7,000-square-foot Saltwater Spa features unusual offerings such as a “Chinese Balls Stimulating Massage,” as well as a saltwater ritual that guests receive with each service. The hotel’s 12 Tribes restaurant is inspired by the legendary 12 Tribes of Israel. Executive Chef Fabian Rios has sourced close to 400 ingredients from 30 countries to craft an irresistible selection of dishes inspired by the cuisines of Spain, Romania, Turkey, France, Germany, Italy, Egypt, Hungary, Tunisia and more. The 80-label wine list, heavy on New World wines, includes 20 Mexican vintages from top boutique producers.
