Cayman Islands Tourism Association Announces New Executive

The Cayman Islands Tourism Association (CITA) Board of Directors announced the appointment of Trina Christian as its new executive director.

Christian was promoted from her previous position as director of marketing for Cayman Traditional Arts, and replaces Ken Thompson, who has moved on to become the general manager for Comfort Suites in Grand Cayman. Christian first came to the Cayman Islands in 1989, and brings with her past experience in the restaurant industry, the resort industry and her most current experience with Cayman Traditional Arts, having assisted in developing it into an organization that contributes heavily to the development of culture in tourism and in the community, through events, educational programs and products.
