CIE Tours Launches $200 Discounts on 2009 River Cruises

Seeking to spur early bookings for 2009 on its European river cruises, CIE Tours International is touting discounts of $200 per couple ($100 per person) for bookings made by May 31, 2008.  Departures in 2009 start on May 2 and run through November 15. Once a deposit is paid, the land cost is guaranteed.

One program included in the 2009 offerings is “The Legendary Danube,” a nine-day/seven-night cruise priced from $1,899, land only. The itinerary includes Regensburg, Passau or Salzburg, Linz, Melk, Vienna; it ends in Budapest.
