From August 19 to 21, the Cleveland Golf / Srixon Scottish Open will return to Fairmont St. Andrews where former Ryder Cup player Barry Lane will defend his title. Last year Lane won his first European Senior Tour title, finishing four strokes ahead of his compatriots Jim Rhodes and Glenn Ralph to win on just his fourth appearance as a senior golfer. Because both the Open Championship and the Senior Open Championship will play in the south of England this year, the Cleveland Golf / Srixon Scottish Open will be one of the premier fixtures on the Scottish golfing calendar.

2011 will mark the third consecutive year the Cleveland Golf / Srixon Scottish Open will appear at Fairmont St. Andrews. Garrett Turta, Fairmont St. Andrews General Manager, said, “The significant improvements we’ve made to the Torrance Course put it among the best in the country. We have a fantastic course and are very popular with the players so I know we’ll attract a great lineup to the home of golf in August.” For more information, please click here.
