The Cool Pool of the Week: The National Hotel Miami Beach

There’s never a shortage of cool pools in South Beach, Miami, but if Millennials are looking for a dip with a little history, tell them about the 205-foot long infinity pool at The National Hotel Miami Beach.

Dating back to the 1930's, the hotel was fully restored in 2014 and was recognized by “Historic Hotels of America” for maintaining its architectural authenticity while bringing subtle and sophisticated elements of contemporary design for the discerning traveler.

The infinity swimming pool was at one time the longest pool in all of Florida. Located amongst native palms, bougainvilleas and tropical foliage are private cabanas, chaises, seating areas and relaxing massage services with pool side bites and signature drinks prepared at Aqua Club Bar and Grill.

The pool complex includes a second leisure pool, heated and set near to our own private sandy area. The safari-inspired cabanas that are perfectly positioned alongside the pool will certainly entice travelers to unwind, read a book, or even enjoy an afternoon nap.

Guests also have the option to book one of the poolside suites, each featuring artwork by different artists, providing a distinctive touch to the room. Poolside service is one of the many amenities conveniently offered on the property as well. Adding to the experience, The National Hotel offers massage services at their poolside cabanas.
