Marriott International recently announced plans to open the first Courtyard by Marriott brand hotel in Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica. The project is being developed by Caribe Hospitality Jamaica.
The 129-room Courtyard by Marriott hotel, scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2015, will be located about 10 miles from the Norman Manley International Airport and close to the city’s best dining and shopping.
The hotel will feature the brand’s refreshing business lobby, lobby bar, a casual dining restaurant, flexible meeting space and recreational facilities including a swimming pool and fitness center. Additionally, it will include the brand’s new modern guest room design which is intuitive and thoughtful, offering flexible yet comfortable spaces that enable technology. Signature furniture and architectural elements will replace traditional art in the new guest room design.
