Courtyard by Marriott Opens Fifth Hotel in France

Courtyard by Marriott has opened the Courtyard Paris Arcueil, its fifth hotel in France. Located in Arcueil, a suburb just south of Paris, the hotel is close to the headquarters of many French corporations and situated near numerous public transportation options allowing guests to reach the heart of downtown Paris in just 20 minutes.

Opening rates begin at $135 per night through April 30.

According to Amy McPherson, president and managing director for Marriott International in Europe, this debut is only the beginning of the brand's expansion into Europe.

"Last year we announced our goal to double our presence in Europe by 2015," she said. "Just this year, we expect to open five more Courtyard hotels in Europe in cities including Moscow, Munich and Boulogne."
