NEGRIL, Jamaica – Travel Agent was on hand last week for SuperClubs Resorts’ annual Superstar Awards where we learned that Decameron All Inclusive Hotels & Resorts is the leading candidate to buy the former Breezes Montego Bay.
SuperClubs didn't renew its lease for the property in late August because it “didn’t meet the standards” of the company’s November 1 rebranding, says Chairman John J. Issa. Although there are other suitors for the property, we learned from several sources that Decameron was the most likely and could make a sale official shortly. Decameron currently has properties in Colombia, Jamaica, Mexico, Morrco, El Salvador, Panama and Peru.
