The Nevis Tourism Authority recently announced that Delta Air Lines has added a second flight to its St. Kitts and Nevis schedule between December 17 and January 7, 2017, in time for the peak holiday season.

This new Wednesday flight is in addition to the weekly Saturday flight Delta operates from Atlanta to St. Kitts. The schedule allows for connections from across the Delta U.S. network with flights departing Atlanta at 9:50 a.m. and arriving in St. Kitts at 2:49 p.m. and for visitors to maximize their time in the Caribbean with the return flights departing St. Kitts at 4 p.m. and arriving in Atlanta at 7:29 p.m.

The route is operated with a Boeing 757 offering Economy, Economy Comfort and Business Class service. After the three-week period, the schedule will return to the weekly Saturday schedule.

“This additional flight will make travel to Nevis even easier during what is our busiest period,” said Mark Brantley, minister of foreign affairs and aviation for St. Kitts and Nevis, in a written release. “Our tourism figures support the demand for increased seat capacity and flights to the island and we’re glad that Delta has provided this welcome addition.”
