Delta Air Lines Adds New Direct Flight to Cape Town

Delta Airlines has launched new direct service between New York's JFK Airport and Cape Town, South Africa. The announcement was made Monday night at a South Africa Tourism dinner in New York. Delta says the new direct flight is the first of its kind from the U.S. to the South African city/Western Cape capital.

The inaugural flight was June 3. Flights will depart from JFK daily at 3:55 p.m. Delta also offers direct service between Atlanta and Johannesburg. The U.S. is currently the second largest market for international arrivals to South Africa. Visit www.delta.com
