Delta Air Lines will resume seasonal service to Valencia on Spain’s Mediterranean coast. Starting June 1, 2011, Delta will offer four nonstop flights a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York to Valencia Airport in Manises (VLC). Return flights from Valencia to JFK will depart on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The flights will feature two-class service onboard Boeing 757-200 ETOPS aircraft with 16 seats in Delta’s Business Elite class and 144 seats in economy class. The service to Valencia will continue through September 5, 2011, and the last return flight from Valencia will be September 6, 2011.
Delta Air Lines’ flight #198 will depart JFK at 4:30 p.m., arriving in Valencia the following morning at 6:30 a.m.. The return flight, Delta #199, departs Valencia at 10:25 a.m., arriving back into JFK at 12:59 p.m. the same day. The airline also offers daily nonstop flights to Madrid (MAD) and Barcelona (BCN) from New York and Atlanta (ATL).
