This week, Disney Cruise Line’s Disney Magic sailed to Geiranger, Norway, the fjord that inspired Disney’s Frozen, to kick off the line's 2015 summer season.
Cruises to Geiranger are offered through 7-Night and 9-Night Norwegian Fjord Cruises. On both trips, travelers will depart from Dover, England or Copenhagen, Denmark, sail along the Norwegian coast and discover the nature of the fjords. The 7-Night Tour cruises to Stavanger, Alesund, Geiranger and Bergen. The 9-Night Tour sails to additional cities including Molde and Olden where guests will have a chance to explore the historic fishing villages. Disney Cruise Line also offers 11- and 12-Night voyages through the Norwegian fjords.
Families will get a chance to kayak around the fjords, hike to waterfalls, go flightseeing over the mountains, shop for traditional knitted sweaters and tour historic and medieval towns. Disney Cruises arrive early in the morning to port cities, giving guests the option to spend the day discovering Norway’s coastline.
