Walt Disney World Resort is implementing a new policy for guests in the event of a hurricane warning. Should the National Hurricane Center issue a warning for the Orlando area or the client's home location seven days prior to their arrival date, the travel agent can reschedule or cancel their Walt Disney Travel Co. Magic Your Way vacation package without penalty. The policy also applies to most Walt Disney World Resort room-only reservations booked through Disney and bookings at Disney's Vero Beach Resort or Disney's Hilton Head Island Resort. Agents should check with tour operators or third party suppliers on bookings such as flights, car rentals or vacation insurance as clients may be responsible for non-refundable payments or change fees.
