Steve Wynn and his wife Elaine made quite a team. Steve Wynn is chief executive of the Las Vegas-based casino company Wynn Resorts LTD and was often out in front as a lodging impresario. Elaine – a former beauty queen - sat on the company’s board and oversaw many of the interior design details, especially in the comparatively new Wynn and Encore resorts in Vegas. She brought dash and color and a hint of whimsicality to the Wynn enterprise. Now the couple is heading for splitsville for the second time. Divorce papers were filed last week and quickly sealed. Wynn Resorts LTD is also keeping mum on the matter. The couple met in college and married in 1963. They divorced for the first time in 1986 and remarried five years later. Sin City is buzzing with gossip about the break-up.
