Hilton Worldwide has signed a management agreement with Inversiones Robledo, SAS - a joint venture between Proinversión and TVP Management - to introduce its Homewood Suites by Hilton brand to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Scheduled to open in Q3 2017, the new build 120-room Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo is the brand’s first hotel in the Caribbean, and the first hotel designed in line with its Caribbean and Latin America prototype.
Located on Winston Churchill Avenue, and across the street from Blue Mall, the 11-story Homewood Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo will offer travelers proximity to the area’s main businesses, shopping and entertainment.
The hotel will participate in the Hilton HHonors loyalty program. Hilton Worldwide currently has two hotels open in the Dominican Republic: Hilton Santo Domingo and Embassy Suites by Hilton Santo Domingo. The company is actively pursuing additional growth opportunities in the Caribbean.
