DoubleTree by Hilton Opens First Hotel on Hawaii Island

Following a $30 million renovation, DoubleTree by Hilton has debuted its first hotel on Hawaii Island, Hawaii.

The Grand Naniloa Hotel Hilo - a DoubleTree by Hilton is located on 70 acres of oceanfront property, with views of Hilo Bay and the Mauna Kea Volcano. 

The hotel’s 320 fully-refurbished guest rooms and suites provide upscale, contemporary lodging for vacationers exploring the charms of Hilo and nearby attractions, such as waterfalls, the lava flows of Kalapana and snorkeling or surfing off the bay and ocean coasts.

Each room comes with complimentary Wi-Fi, a work desk, a microwave, refrigerator and DoubleTree Sweet Dreams Sleep Experience beds. Guests who upgrade to a suite may also relax in a separate living area and enjoy ocean views from the balcony.

Another worthy view may be seen from the Lobby Lounge, where guests can check out views of Hilo Bay while sipping cocktails, wine and locally brewed beer from the large outdoor deck.
