The Doubletree Resort Orlando International Drive, Doubletree Hotels' largest worldwide property to date, raised its flag September 22, saluting its reopening after a $35 million makeover.
The 1,094-room hotel is located within walking distance from some of Orlando's biggest centers, including Seaworld (and its new Aquatica water park) and the Orange County Convention Center.
Its amenities include 60,000 square feet of meeting space as well as three pools, three dining options and a fitness center. A children's lounge is complete with computers and Nintendo Wii. And while the kids are playing, adults can enjoy the nine-hole miniature golf course or a day at the spa.
