Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hires Judy Alberti for Music Booking

With a new focus on live music, the Downtown Grand Las Vegas Hotel & Casino has announced Judy Alberti, Las Vegas’ concert-booking guru and owner of Alberti Entertainment LLC, will add the Downtown Grand to her client list and will be responsible for activating all of the performance spaces at the hotel/casino property.

Alberti, with 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry, has served most notably in the capacity of vice president of entertainment for Station Casinos in Las Vegas. Guitar Army, Alberti’s first booking, is set to take the Freedom Beat stage on Sunday, September 25 at 10 p.m. The band will play three small acts before combining into a “super group” to close its set.

The plan for Downtown Grand is to have non-stop rock bands at the casino. Freedom Beat will host solo artists, blues musicians, and acoustic bands; the Red Velvet State will be home to rock, classic rock, and progressive country; and the rooftop Citrus Stage will have a range of music from headliner bands to tribute artists.

Downtown’s large outdoor state on 3rd Street will also hold its own concerts as its downtown’s best open space concert area.
