Karisma Hotels & Resorts has announced that El Dorado Maroma, a Beachfront Resort, by Karisma, in the Riviera Maya has expanded with the addition of 25 suites in a new five-story building, as well as new restaurants and beachfront bars.
The new suites at the adults-only property include Royal Suites, Royale Swim-Up Suites, Presidential Studios, and the five-bedroom beachfront Villa Maroma. The new building was previously known as Generations Maroma.
The new suites have king or double beds and a private indoor Jacuzzi. Surrounded by water, the suites offer immediate pool access via the private terrace for ocean views. The Presidential Studio has a grand master bedroom with a king bed, fully equipped kitchen, indoor Jacuzzi, and El Dorado Maroma’s “Aguas del amor” private outdoor shower. The Presidential Studio is also available with a swim-up option.
The Villa Maroma has a private beachfront pool Jacuzzi with Caribbean ocean views, five bedrooms that sleep up to ten adults, and amenities that include an executive chef to assist with meals in the fully- equipped kitchen and an on-call masseuse. The villa also offers direct beach access, a home theater, and a second floor infinity pool.
El Dorado Maroma guests will also have access to new culinary additions as well, including Chakay Restaurant, which serves a daily changing menu; and the beachfront Sunset Bar, which has rooftop seating for views of the Mexican Caribbean. Joe’s Lounge & Bar now serves hors d'oeuvres, tropical beverages, and international wines accompanied by views of the Maroma Beach. The Caribbean Grill Restaurant & Terrace presents an avant-garde Mexican Caribbean dinner, served on and open-air terrace. Finally, El Dorado Maroma’s Lima Limón Restaurant offers Peruvian fare, with signature dishes such as ceviche, lomo saltado (a popular stir fry dish) and tiradito (spicy sliced ceviche).
